MaineHealth's Patient Assistance Line
The Patient Assistance Line can help with applying for health coverage, accessing affordable medications, finding transportation or other social services. They will work with any MaineHealth patient seeking assistance with issues that are negatively affecting their health such as health insurance, medications, transportation, housing, and food insecurity. There is no charge. This service is funded by MaineHealth.

CoverME.gov is the website for the Maine Health Insurance Marketplace. CoverME.gov is designed to help find affordable health coverage for you and your family. Through CoverME.gov, you can compare qualified health insurance plans that include a comprehensive set of benefits and coverage. You can also apply for help to lower the cost of your health coverage. CoverME.gov can also help you find out if you qualify for free or low-cost coverage from MaineCare (Maine’s Medicaid program).

Help Me Grow (HMG) Maine is a free information line linking families and professionals to information about child development, pregnancy, and community resources for children all over Maine up to the age of eight years old. Call today by dialing 211 option 5 to speak to a Family Support Specialist who will listen, link you to services, and provide ongoing support when needed.
Taking care of yourself and your children can be hard. While children bring great joy, parenting is not picture perfect. Everyone needs help sometimes, whether that’s paying bills, finding affordable child care, or dealing with your own feelings and stress. Be There for ME is a judgement-free place to get connected to support.
CradleME is a free service that connects you with the right home-based or virtual support for you and your baby. They are a partnership between many programs created to help you and your baby thrive — see their website to learn more about each of the resources available to you.
Parent Stress Line: 1.800.632.8188
The Parent Stress Line is a toll-free, confidential helpline for parents who need to discuss issues related to their children. Trained volunteer counselors answer the Parental Stress Line and offer support, empathy, encouragement, information and referrals. The line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Any parent or caregiver raising children 18 and under may call the Parental Stress Line.
Maine Parent Federation's goal is to provide the information and resources needed to be a successful advocate for your family. They have a Resource Map, a blog will keep you up to date on happenings and events, and they offer various trainings and webinars with downloadable resources.
